Tegan Joy: Welcome….
My amazingly awesome friends Kara and Jason just recently celebrated the birth of their first baby, Tegan Joy. When they asked me to be there to photograph the baby meeting the family for the first time I was obviously honored and extremely excited about the opportunity! Kara and Jason have become such dear, sweet friends to Jennifer and I and we are very blessed to have them in our life’s. Jason and I also work together at Showit and I couldn’t ask for a better sidekick to work with. Here’s to a an overwhelming and joyous future to you both. Jason, let’s plan on getting that gun for you soon… you’re going to need it my friend. She’s BEAUTIFUL!! We love you guys!

Today was my first shoot for the whole new “Sprouts” collection coming soon. This shoot was seriously fun and it was great to get out there and fire off some shots today. Things have been very busy this winter so I haven’t been able to shoot as much as I wanted. This shoot kinda rekindled the fire! Look for more shoots coming very soon from my new kids collection! Great job Nate! What a stud!

Kara: Maternity
There’s just something about the beauty in a pregnant woman, …..oh who am I kidding?! It’s Kara everybody! Kara second shot with me this summer for our weddings, in case you don’t remember. Her and her husband Jason have become some of our greatest friends and Jason and I actually now work together for ShowIt. That’s a whole other story though for another blog day. I was obviously honored when they asked me to photograph their maternity session and we had some good times for sure. I have another cool shoot planned for Kara “soon” but I think I will let that one stay as a surprise to everyone. Can’t wait to meet you Tegan! Enjoy!

Melissa & Jimmy: Married
Well it’s bittersweet to write this blog. This is my last wedding for 2009 and I must say, 2009 was insanely awesome on every level and I couldn’t have a better wedding to go out of the year with. Melissa and Jimmy got married in the beautiful chapel at Peoples Church and then they headed over to New Covenant Church where Jimmy works for the reception. These guys are just adorable and such a true pleasure to work with. Enjoy the pics and hopefully you’ll see a lot more from me very soon! Congrats you guys! We love you!

Busy Bee
Wow…things have just been wild lately with family shoots and booking weddings and so on. I’m stoked that we’ve booked some more out of town weddings for next year because we love to travel. I haven’t blogged much lately and it’s only because I really havent had the time to be totally honest. We are trying to wrap up the year before Christmas hits so that puts a LOT of pressure on me to finalize albums, get orders in, etc. Speaking of Albums…I just want to throw a BIG shout out to GraphiStudio in Italy for their amazing products. NOT ONCE has an album come into our studio that has had a problem. They are truly perfection.
Our Fall Portrait sessions were a HUGE hit. After the first one I just looked at Jenn and said, “wow…that was awesome!”. There’s still time to get fall pictures done so if you’re interested give Jenn a call and lets get YOU in here! Christmas order cutoffs are DECEMBER 14th!!
I also wanted to take the time and thank all my clients. You guys seriously, seriously rock and continue to blow my mind with all your support and love. I hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving week and I hope you have a truly blessed Christmas. Keep an eye out because we have some killer shoots coming up that are a little bit “different” for us. Both the shoots involve locale bands so I’m really excited to try some new stuff with both groups.
We’re currently also planning our trip to WPPI Vegas in March. I think we may be going with some friends and that would be SWEET to have a road trip again. Other stuff I’ve been up to is the GYM. I’ve started yet another GRUELING work out regiment and it’s so fun…in a sick way. I have big big big goals so keep me motivated! :-)

Anthony: Class of 2010
It seems like forever since I did a blog post but things have been very busy for sure. Today I took Anthony out and did a killer senior shoot and we had some good times! It was cool that he brought along his sister, Jennifer as well because I shot her and her husband, Evan’s wedding a few years back. Drew & Scott: Engaged
Check out this lovely couple! Meet Drew and Scott. These two are sweethearts and we had a blast out at Englemann Cellers just west of good ol’ Fresno. They will be celebrating their wedding there in May and I’m stoked to capture it for sure. The place is pretty awesome. Right off the bat this couple was laughing so we had a ball because, well, I like to laugh too so we hit it off great! Small world too, I went to high school with Scott’s brother and we were in THE BAND together (go cougars!!) so I’m stoked to see some old high school friends at the wedding! Thanks guys! You rocked it!
